Mark Eckstrand
While my artistic background is in drawing and painting, I was attracted to working with hot glass because of its many artistic and technical challenges. For more than twenty years I have been combining fused imagery with hand blown glass to create undersea creations and sculptures, many of which are incorporated into my "Ersatz" aquarium installations. Virtually all of my artwork reflects my passion for under water imagery and fish.
